“Diklat building would be replaced with bigger buildings. But it is too expensive if we must construct it using our budget,” he said, Friday (6/3).

According to him, the construction will be cheaper if involving private or state-owned enterprise (BUMN) or government-official unit. Except for fire fighter diklat building, it will be constructed by city administration.

The new building is functioned as apartment, but the renting cost just like a dorm house. It means professional workers living outside Jakarta can rent the unit.

“The cost could be Rp 3 million per year,” he added.
